Reader x Italy – Our Secret - Chapter 1

Your POV

You were sleeping soundly in your room, stone cold after working a long night at your parents shop. Suddenly your phone blared out its catchy ringtone, making you fall out of your bed in shock. You grumbled to yourself as you picked up your phone.

"Hello, can I help you?" You groaned, climbing back onto your bed.

"________~! I'm sorry for waking you up so early~!" Your best friend Feliciano Vargas said cheerily. You felt the inside of yourself glow warmly as you hear his voice on the phone and smiled. You had known Feli since you were kids, although you were the opposite. You were the shy, timid and sensible one; Feliciano was very loud and friendly with everyone he met. And you had a huge crush on him for a while now too.

"Hey there Feli, how are ya doing?" You asked a lot more awake.

"Well, I was wondering if you wanted to spend the day with me~? You said you were busy last night." Feli added.

"Well s-sure! Of course I'll spend the day with you!" You said happily, cheeks reddening. You heard Feli do a little whooping noise.

"I'll meet you in the park at ten o'clock~! Well, ciao _________~!" Feli sang. You pressed the end call button on your phone and smiled to yourself again. You looked at the clock, and saw that it was already 9:37AM. As you put on your best silky white dress and combed your (insert hair colour here) hair, you decided that it was high time that you told Feli how you felt about him once and for all… Well, if you had enough courage that is… You had known him long enough to not be so scared to tell him anything.  It was all or nothing. You put on your flat shoes on and grabbed your favourite bag and tidied your room up a little bit. As you left the bedroom you saw your mom walking out of the bathroom.

"Oh, don't you look nice, huh? Where're you going now _________?" Mom asked curiously, leaning against the staircase banister.

"I'm, err, going to see Feli today." You replied sheepishly, feeling your cheeks going pink. Your mom giggled excitedly; she loved it how you had a huge crush on Feli.

"Feliciano would be lucky to have you, ________! Come back when you're ready; I'm giving you today off." Your mom added with a smile. You smiled at her and gave her a hug to say thanks for letting you have the day off. You rushed down the stairs, grabbed your house keys and rushed out of the house. You ran down the street, feeling more excited than ever.


Italy's POV

Feliciano was sitting on the swing in the park, waiting for his good friend _______. He had a crush on her for a long while now. It had gotten to the stage that he began fantasising about marrying her, even though the pair of them had just turned 18. Feli was wearing his normal clothes, a normal t-shirt and some jeans with sneakers, but he wore his favourite pale brown blazer of course. He checked his watched. It had just turned ten o'clock. Feli looked up again. He saw ________ rushing towards him, her (insert hair colour here) hair flowing around her face gently in her silk white dress. Feli felt his cheeks reddening suddenly as he smiled at _________ widely.

"_________~! You look so cute~!" Feli said cheerily, standing up to greet _________. __________ laughed her usual beautiful laugh, which was music to Feli's ears. He really loved _________. He loved her because she never distanced herself from him like the others would when he was a kid. He hugged __________ tightly and looked at her. Her (insert eye colour) eyes glittered in the sunlight, her smile dazzled Feli slightly. She was an angel.

"Thanks for the compliment Feli." ________ giggled, her cheeks going slightly pink. She sat on the swing next to Feli's swing, and he decided to sit down next to her. He smiled at her warmly as she looked up to the sky.

"Mom's given me the day off from work today to spend time with you…" _________ said sheepishly. Feliciano smiled again.

"Veh~ that was nice of her! That means you can eat some pasta with me~!" Feli sang excitedly. _________ laughed again.

"Then I'll be able to go to your place, huh?" She asked hopefully.

"No." Feliciano said suddenly. He felt his mood darken suddenly; the day seemed to have already taken a bad turn. __________ frowned.

"Why can't I Feli? You've been down my house plenty of times." __________ pouted.

Err; my house is… being re-decorated." Feliciano said hopefully, praying that __________ would drop the subject about going to his house. But he knew otherwise.

"So you're house is being re-decorated for the tenth time this week? What are you hiding, Feli?" __________ asked suddenly, looking slightly annoyed. Feli felt a sudden panic rising in his chest. There was no way on earth that he could tell __________ about why she couldn't come down his house; she wouldn't believe him if he told her.

"W-well, you see… err…" Feliciano stammered, looking nervous. _________ looked as if she was expecting an answer off of him.

But then Feliciano's instincts kicked in suddenly.

He stood up sharply, putting his hand in his blazer pocket. _________ stood up and looked at Feli nervously,

"Err, Feli…? I-I didn't mean to upset you, you don't have to take me down your house if you don't want-" __________ stammered nervously, fidgeting slightly. Feli looked over ___________'s shoulder ignoring her, and saw a man all in dark red standing close to the bushes. To Feli's anger, he saw that he was aiming a gun at _________. Feli didn't care about being discreet about anything any more. Feli grabbed _________'s arm and pulled her behind him. He then pulled out his Beretta Cheetah pistol, which gained a shocked gasp from _________. It was jet black, with his initials engraved on the handle of the pistol. Feli aimed the gun at the man in red and pulled the trigger. The bullet tore through the man's chest as _________ screamed. Feli calmly put his pistol back into his pocket and breathed out deeply.

"W-W-WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT FELI?! YOU JUST SHOT A RANDOM MAN FOR NO REASON AT ALL WHATSOEVER!!!" _________ shrieked. Feli winced at her voice and realised that he blew his cover. He turned to face ___________ quickly, and pressed a particular spot in her neck. Her eyes closed suddenly as she collapsed in his arms. Feli felt bad for doing what he did to her, but he needed to keep her quiet for the time being.

'I can't just take her home and expect her to forget everything…' Feliciano thought to himself, as he picked _________ up bridal style. He heard her mumble something about where he was taking her.

"You wanted to come to my house, right? So now you'll get the chance, veh~" Feli said cheerily, as he started to quickly walk to his house. All he could think about was how mad Lovi was going to be when he found out what Feli did.
